Polyethylene. Yes, they do make tents out of plastic. This is a good thing because polyethylene plastic tents are incredibly flexible allowing them to fit in to a number of camping scenarios. These tents are virtually weightless, yet, they remain incredibly strong. And those looking for a waterproof tent will be happy to learn this style is the most water resistant of all.
